Ann Gallagher (ed.), Rachel Whiteread: Catalogue Raisonné of the Sculptures
Dame Rachel Whiteread is a leading contemporary artists whose work has been shown in and collected by museums throughout the world.
The multi-volume, fully illustrated catalogue raisonné will document all Whiteread’s sculpture with an entry for each work that includes descriptive information and a comprehensive provenance, exhibition history, and bibliography.
Ann Gallagher (editor) and Kira Wainstein (assistant editor) are working closely with the artist’s studio to prepare the catalogue raisonné, with the support of Gagosian, Luhring Augustine, and Galleria Lorcan O’Neill.

About the author
Ann Gallagher is an independent curator and writer. From 2006-2019 she was Director of Collections for British Art at Tate, and before that was Senior Curator in the Visual Arts Department of the British Council. Among the many exhibitions she has curated are Rachel Whiteread’s Venice Biennale exhibition in 1997 and the artist’s major retrospective at Tate Britain in 2017.
Ann has published on a wide range of artists, including Zarina Bhimji, Susan Hiller, Damien Hirst, Helio Oiticica, Rose Wylie and Rachel Whiteread.
